I carry many self-proclaimed fancy titles, some of which include: Wrangler of Boston Terrier. Lord of the Kitchen. Admiral of Air Hockey. The Prince of Ping Pong. The Duke of Disc (Frisbee golf). Or, from the time I forgot my ID card in college after a 3 hour drive to a famous bar in Key Biscayne with my friends and had to wait outside while they had fruity cocktails: 'Pampers'. I deserved that one. They still call me that. These lofty titles continue, but let's first get into the nitty gritty: I deliver authentic storytelling of your wedding day with several goals in mind - To be genuine, devoted to realism, and faithful to your personalities. I document the openness you have with each other and convey a visual message that resonates in your heart. My work as straddles the cinematic and photojournalism genres. I frame you in both light and shadow. It becomes a character in your story. I mean, that's what photographers are supposed to do, right? It creates mood, depth, nuance, passion, mystery, contrast and harmony - just as in real life. I draw inspiration from talented cinematographers past and present, includeing Stanley Kubrick (2001 Space Odyssey), Emmanuel Lubezki (The Revenant), Conrad Hall (Road to Perdition), Gordon Willis (The Godfather), Robert Elswit (There Will Be Blood) and Roger Deakins (Blade Runner 2049).
