It's clear that Mark Zuckerberg had an amazing week. But what made it end in spectacular fashion is when he wed his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan on Saturday, May 19, 2012 in an intimate ceremony at his Palo Alto, California property.

Though the public has grown accustomed to seeing the Facebook co-founder in his usual hoodie, he donned a smart suit and tie in ebony for his big day. His bride wore a gown by Claire Pettibone that exuded elegance and sophistication.

Priscilla looked resplendent in Pettibone's "Sky Between the Branches" dress featuring laser-cut floral embroidery with matte sequins lined in silk, an illusion jeweled neckline, and sheer back with chapel-length train ($4,700). The renowned designer says, "I'm surprised and thrilled to see Priscilla Chan wearing my embroidered silk gown... congratulations to the happy couple!"

The bride's gown choice was perfect for the small outdoor wedding that included close friends and family who originally thought they were attending a celebration for Priscilla's graduation from medical school.

A Facebook image displays the newly minted husband and wife posing hand-in-hand, and a string of sparkling lights and abundant greenery in the background.
