In an intimate presentation, Monique Lhuillier showed a modern approach to traditional bridal dresses as she was inspired by today's bride. Looks ranged from a white leather motorcycle jacket with pearl details worn over a V-neck sheath in Chantilly lace with an asymmetrically cut ruffled edge skirt for the cool-girl bride, to a Mikado strapless draped trumpet gown featuring a signature back bow detail for the more sophisticated bride. Lhuillier also showed a chic pantsuit that was tailored to perfection.
The Bliss bridal collection, which she also showed at the presentation, was flirty and fun. Key looks ranged from a fur coat with ostrich feather trim with a jeweled belt worn over a satin slip dress to a re-embroidered lace strapless trumpet gown with a detachable tulle train. These are definitely party-time dresses and will be adored by brides desiring an edge. See these styles and more in the slideshow above!
