View a Sweet Sunset Engagement Shoot in Joshua Tree

When Tadeh Hambarsoomian was ready to propose to Sona Movsisian, he couldn't wait to pop the question. "Tadeh proposed to me in Silver Lake on Descanso Drive... literally on the street," smiles Sona. After dropping off a friend, the couple planned to go to the beach to celebrate Tadeh's birthday. "After a failed attempt to call an Uber, Tadeh decided not to wait and to propose at that moment. Before I knew it, he was on his knee asking me to marry him while recording the entire thing!" Of course, she said "yes," and the newly affianced pair joined their respective sisters who were waiting for them at Nobu to celebrate.

Before their February wedding in Los Angeles, California, Sona and Tadeh chose to take engagement photos in Joshua Tree National Park. The fun-loving couple bounced around from the arid desert landscape to the homestead cabin they rented for the weekend as they smiled, laughed, and danced together while photos were being taken. "The whole day and weekend was so memorable to us," shares Sona. "Our photographer made the whole process so easy and was able to capture images of us that spoke true to our personalities. We loved the entire experience."
