One of the most popular trends as of late is laser cutting. It’s a look that works beautifully for luxury soirées, modern fêtes, or even rustic-chic events – depending on how it's incorporated into the details of the wedding. While most couples choose to incorporate laser-cut details in their invitations and paper goods throughout the ceremony and reception, others take it one step further with laser-cut wedding attire, such as gowns or shoes, to add a modern twist to the traditional romantic lace ensemble.
The technique of laser-cutting creates very precise lines by way of high-powered beams that cut out a couple's desired motif on many materials. While paper is perhaps one of the easiest – and most popular – ways to incorporate laser-cutting into your nuptials, we've seen couples use metallic panels, wood, mirror, vinyl, and more to create gorgeous laser-cut invites, wedding signage, and additional ceremony and reception décor in order to feature eye-catching elements in their desired design or monogram throughout the celebration.
Laser-cut wedding details can be included in just about every aspect of your nuptials, and we’ve gathered some of our favorites from real weddings below. Be sure to click each image to discover more inspiration from these beautiful events.
