When Hannah Sutker and Eric Reinmund were introduced for the first time, they felt like they had known each other for years. When the time was right, the couple moved in together. One Sunday morning while Hannah was sleeping, Eric got down on one knee next to the bed at 6:30 a.m. The bride-to-be happily accepted and the pair joined their families for a celebratory brunch.

After moving to Los Angeles, the couple knew they wanted to exchange vows close to the beach with an amazing view, so they chose a hotel in Marina Del Rey. Knowing they wanted to hire a professional, the couple did their research and chose Charley Izabella King of Bluebell Events to organize the design and details of their nuptials. “All of her clients had nothing but amazing things to say about her, and they were right!” shares Hannah. “Charley truly is a five-star planner and we definitely could not have had our dream wedding without her!”

The celebration featured an English garden-inspired theme with a color palette of light tones of pink, blush, peach, and cream. Desiring more of a relaxed vibe, florals were designed to feel as though they were flowing naturally rather than tightly arranged. To add a personalized touch to the day, Hannah and Eric were married by a family friend of 25 years beneath a four-post structure composed of birch branches enveloped in greenery and pale pink blooms, which offered a view of the city to guests.

Following the alfresco service, loved ones entered the ballroom for a joyous reception. Tables were decorated with centerpieces of blush roses, ranunculus blossoms, and ivory anemones mixed with verdant accents and succulents. Live trees were brought into the ballroom in order to give the space the garden feel the couple envisioned. To add a modern twist to the classic décor, a neon pink sign reading “all you need is love” was displayed on a hedge wall and guests enjoyed a four-tier cake covered in rainbow sprinkles, as well as a doughnut wall on the way out for guests to take home.
