Couples looking to create a cheery motif for their bridal shower will find plenty of inspiration from this stylish event. Held in the summer on the rooftop of the NoMad Hotel in New York City, the décor complemented the property's Moroccan-inspired tent complete with layered rugs on the floor and lanterns overhead. Inspired to bring the colors and flora of summer into the urban space, the design team successfully created a refined, boho-chic setting for the pre-nuptial celebration.

"By bringing in color (including pops of Pantone's 2019 color of the year) to a neutral space, my team and I were able to create a fresh, polished look for a perfect 'summer in the city' soirée," shares event planner Lindsay Landman. Two long tables were covered with navy-and-white batik linens and topped with low centerpieces with foliage and florals in shades of lime green and soft peach. Rustic lanterns and gilded platters were filled with more blooms, verdure, and even succulents and fresh fruits such as sweet Rainier cherries and golden plums.

Friends and family were served libations including signature cocktails and a selection of wines and dined on delectable menu selections: a snow pea chiffonade with pancetta, pecorino, and mint, a choice of seared salmon or poularde roasted with corn, and a blueberry crumble tart with crème fraîche and ricotta ice cream for dessert. They also took home boxes of artisan jam and peanut butter as favors, as well as pillows embroidered with their names, which doubled as alternatives to traditional place cards.
